I was a Army Medic, we are armed, but only with a defensive weapon (handgun and/or rifle (yes M-16/AR-15 are defensive weapons, even with their scary black color)) to protect ourselves and out patients. When it becomes a crime is if we used offensive weapons like the S.A.W., 50 cal, or MK-19 grenade launcher. (many other examples those are just the ones I saw the most overseas)
During WW2 it was a courtesy afforded by two sides confident in their victory. Then as it became apparent to Germans they were losing they started to be a lot less courteous. This "don't shoot the medic" crap was during what some of would refer to as "Sunday Fighting"; D-Day, Carantan, Foy, Bastogne, etc etc etc were not these types of fights. Medics were baited and then used as bait on a regular basis.
What I'm trying to say is that kind of shit rarely happened then and if SHTF today Medics would be target #1 for Antifags and BLM'ers.
Yes, but thats because our last few "wars" were against groups that dont recognize the Geneva Convention. That said, the way Antifa uses "medics" makes their designation irrelevant. Its the same with people who have PRESS plastered all over them.
Per wikipedia:
According to the Geneva Convention, knowingly firing at a medic wearing clear insignia is a war crime.
Vice versa, the convention also states that no medic should carry a weapon, or be seen engaged in combat.
Precisely. Our comvat medics are just that, for combat. They don't qualify for medic status under the Geneva Convention due to their carrying a weapon. That said, they're probably better off because it's not like those goat fuckers in the east respect the Geneva Convention anyway.
Is that red mark on the dude’s left arm a “solidarity” injury for bicep boy?
Also, medics are only protected because they’re not armed. Dude has a shield so he can’t be a medic, he’s a defensive soldier.
I'm pretty sure us combat medics are armed
Yeah lets not spread ignorant misinformation when the truth is just a click away. Medics in the US Army have been armed since WW2.

That's how I understood it at least.

I know some of those places from call of duty 1
Your dumb or corps man in the USMC were and are armed.

I was more commenting on the 'medics are unarmed' comment from above. I'd put one soldier unarmed vs a dozen armed fascist anti fascists any day
Yesterday, I watched a pAntifa terrorist (a grown man) crying on the ground because he got slapped. That is all. xD
I think its to cover up identifying tattoos so he cant get arrested when hes caught on video doing illegal shit.
That's really smart actually
The autists at 4chan probably could still identify you just by knowing the tattoo location though, they're something else
Hiding a tattoo so no one will know who bomb-thrower..ah I mean "medic" is.
Marines get deployed with Navy corpsmen medics who can carry primary arms. Extra gear to haul!
