Shit. If I was having rolling brown outs then springing $25k for a full house generator running on natural gas will seem like a smart choice.

$ 25,000 might power your house, but I doubt that will put out enough kW's for Nancy's house. Think about how much square footage is under air conditioning, then add in the multiple refrigerators, the famous deep freezer, etc.
