My work requires me to be in the city. When I go out on hiking trips however, I put on some jeans and a t-shirt, and leave it in the dust. You could still tell I'm not a local, but I always say my please-and-thank-yous and make the most of being there.
I've noticed a lot of city folk around my little rural x-urb and I don't care for it too much.
