I always found it interesting that the Holocaust was mentioned in school and we even read a book about it. Nothing was said about the Holomodor or any essentially Communist history or details of death. Especially when the Communists have exterminated way more people.

Seems to me that for a long time schools are leaving a blank space on teaching the history of "revolutionary history" and filling in that gap with muh Hitler. I guess I shouldn't be surprised given Orwell's description of the British intelligensia of his time...and Lenin's comments about his own intellgensia and having them purged continually.
