Except it's not unprecedented at all, Presidents have been talking about this for over 60 years. Only difference is, Trump's predecessors used euphemisms like Military Industrial Complex instead of coming right out and saying what they meant.

Dems literally want to start wars now so they can throw shade on Trump. Despicable people with no morals whatsoever.

I made a post about why the media is attacking Trump with the military. They need to destroy his support with the military to make the coup attempt go easier. They will need the military to help get Trump out. They are setting the stage

"Unprecedented?" Do they even know the meaning of this word?

This a joke, right? Do any of these so-called journalists ever do research before spewing these kind of things?

"On January 17, 1961, Dwight D. Eisenhower ends his presidential term by warning the nation about the increasing power of the military-industrial complex."

Ever since I could comprehend such things, this is what I and everyone else I have ever discussed this with believes. It's not the nicest thing to consider, but we draw a lot of strength from our military industry complex. It's just part of the fibers of this country and has afforded us superiority and security on many fronts. No, it's not pretty, but it keeps the average citizen from being blissfully unaware of how the blanket of freedom that protects them knowing exactly how it's derived. On it's surface it seems like a conflict of interests, but the feaking of the eagle's beak is needed to stay sharp. The key is to have the right amount of balance, as to not shovel too much cash into the war machine, I think that's what is being pointed out, is that certain groups of people are getting carried away or playing tomfast and loose because they have an itch they need to scratch.
