I don't mean to sound ignorant, but hopefully you guys can help me understand: how is it that there is even an opportunity for this whole "we can't count all the votes on election night/it may take weeks to count all the votes" thing to happen? I mean, is there no "deadline" on voting or is it just so relaxed that it isn't actually enforced? There are dozens of right-wing people talking about how we need to be prepared for them to try and steal the election.... what can actually be done to stop it? Are they seriously just going to get away with having the election drag on until they get the result they want?

...and the Democrats cheat (again).

Because Republicans are pussies and don't like to have the papers in DC or major cities call them names. BooHoo.

Apparently the electoral college has no obligation to wait beyond their deadline.
