Seems like there are a lot of shows these days that feature remarkably unattractive individuals. I don't watch much TV these days. I just can't find many shows that interest me. A big reason is because a lot of shows feature some kind of nasty or stupid agenda being pushed, but perhaps it's also partly due to my subconscious being unwilling to stare at ugly actors and actresses for hours.
You are spot on in that observation.
I used to LOVE Big Bang Theory.
People thought she was "hot" but when she cut her hair you could see she was really more of a soccer mom.
Still not ugly -- but not worth the hype.
