From a commentor on a blog:

" Hillary clearly lost because of the Electoral college. How to change that? Move the leftist base out of the cities, into Red states, and change them to Purple at least. Redistribution of leftist voters into Conservative states.

Not to mention, resetting property values much lower, and allow leftist investors to purchase real estate in cities that they could have only dreamed of before. Win-Win in the long run."

I moved away from my hometown in '08. When I left the Navy I moved to the beach for a few years. When I came back this whole place had been yuppified. Not only are there a bunch of non locals to the point people are now surprised when you're from here, but, there is also now heavy traffic EVERYWHERE. This is a formerly rural small town. Fuck internet top ten lists. We are moving away again and soon.

I see a lot of that on Twatter. Somewhat true. The only problem is that the urban parasites gravitate to cities and universities for a reason. Many red states run on the assumption that their populace are much more independent and close-knit than blue idiots who believe John Oliver that Republicans are stupid rednecks, and thus what cities there are in, say, Nebraska, tend to lack support and public services Demonrats take for granted. No buses other than Greyhounds, no trains, not a lot of big box stores, less welfare, less art communities, and lack of support for/culture for bike riders on the road. It took Odumber importing a shitton of Somalis to Minnecrapolis to flip Minnesota.

Not true. Minnesota has always been a Democrat stronghold. It was the only state that preferred Walter Mondale in 1984, and it's been slowly trending Republican since, even in spite of the "refugee" resettlement there.
