What was the minor incident?

I remember this as it was really concerning at the time. I had to look it up for more details (it's been years), but here is a brief description:

The plant was shut down in January 2012 after a small radiation leak led to the discovery of extensive damage to hundreds of tubes inside the virtually new steam generators.

The part that made me all on board having it shut down is that the brand new system they upgraded was being damaged far prematurely and they didn't know why. It needed to be shut down as it was a disaster waiting to happen (again).

Design flaw caused some tubes to vibrate and rub against other parts causing holes and leaks. The fix was to plug up bad tubes and operate at reduced power to also avoid tube vibrations from too much water flow. But enviro freaks found a way to stall restarting process via paperwork bullshit excuse and envirotards in local government threatened to pull their ocean water use permit just because. So the power company said fuck all of you we are shutting this plant down. This what happens when you let a bunch of enviro-karens run your govt instead of conservative men.
