Correct shot placement is cheaper, more effective, reduces risk to innocent bystanders, and is easier to defend in court.

I'd believe you, but I don't. All self defense classes I've taken have been very clear; you do not stop firing until the threat is stopped.
That is what I teach as well. I presume you understand that there is a difference between firing until the threat is neutralized and firing until your ammunition is depleted.

I like the last bit of the article, "Booker-Hicks had just purchased her firearm for self defense earlier that week. She had no idea she would be using it so soon. Booker-Hicks did not have a license to carry, but Texas police confirm that citizens are allowed to carry firearms inside their vehicle without a license." So if that doesn't prove don't mess with Texas I don't know what will :)

This was great, it was a local story. FROM 2 YEARS AGO.
Well it was black on black crime, so nobody cares except the people involved. It's local and was big for a few days at the time.
Sad but true. I really do feel for these poor people stuck living with murderous criminals, because there are many, many more good honest people than there are thugs. But the thugs get all the attention and support from media and politicians because there is money to be made off of crime. Meanwhile, a poor black family buries another innocent killed in a drive by.
