I used to use reddit. I started using it around 2006, back then it was an entirely different place. It was mainly a place to share cat pics and to talk about programming or tech. During the 2008 race reddit was Ron Paul central. It was filled with smart people wanting to talk about things they liked. With each sale of the company and change of leadership it got worse, more like tumbler, driving away more and more of the people that I was there to interact with. After they quarantined the_donald I no longer had a reason to go there. Why would I want to talk about anything with a bunch of America hating commies? Even the tiny niche communities have been completely ruined. Reddit is dead, let it die.
