Yeah, that's why the subtitle on the article is:

Biden's improbable lead in Lone Star state evaporated over last two months.

Real subtitle:

Election day is now close enough where pollsters can't lie anymore if they ever want to be hired again

It's literally every election.

1 year out: Democrat is ahead by 20

6 months out: Democrat is ahead by 10

4 months out: Democrat is ahead by 7

3 months out : Democrat is ahead by 4

2 months out: Republican is unexpectedly closing the gap

1 month out: Democrat still managing to hold a slim lead

1 week out: It's a dead heat, but the Democrat is still going to win

Election Day: Republican is within margin of error

Election Day +1: See? We told you the Republican was within the margin of error. See how accurate our polls are? Keep hiring us.

My sister and I drove through lower Greenville for a drink the other day in the Dallas area. I can remember there being Beto signs everywhere during the Senate race in that area. We saw one apartment with Biden stuff that was about it. Support for Biden here is miniscule. Luckily, the Texas Supreme Court also shot down universal mail-in. Texas should landslide for Trump thank God.

Lakewood/M Streets are among the most liberal neighborhoods, yet I’ve never seen a Biden sign in those parts.

Taking the anecdotal wins where we can

God all those damned Beto signs. I never understood the appeal of the man, but they were everywhere. I thought it was pretty funny when I saw a couple faded Beto bumper stickers in about 10 minutes, and chuckled that bumper stickers from 2 years ago are more common than the current election.

Right? Lol, they've kept that shit on for years now. I'm guessing it is some kind of moral win for them or something

The real nuggets is this: “Trump has reduced Biden's lead among blacks in the state to 58 percent, the poll found.”

That would imply Trumps getting about 21% of the black vote. That’s huge for Trump.
