Not happening. Ballots are already being sent out. They're all in on Biden, there's no real mathematical route to a win for anyone not on the ballots in the states, and too many state deadlines to get on the ballot have passed - that's why Kayne was dropped from several state ballots recently.
Trying to shoehorn a new candidate in right now is so problematic, so unlikely, neither party has a real plan or rules to deal with it. And if they tried, the elections would have to be canceled until the Supreme Court could rule on the Constitutionality of it, and the States figure out if they sue or delay or whatever the path would, if there is one.
If there's any real plan for Harris to step in, it's after Biden wins, and he resigns for health reasons. But, he can't win. So it's not a concern.
