That's because the D's already know they will lose a fair election by a landslide no matter who they put up so they picked the two least liked as sacrifices to save future races for the others. Besides it looks like their goal now is to jam up the election so that there is no clear winner by jan 20th so pelosi becomes president. Not gonna happen.

House doesn't get to vote until the Senate confirms the votes received from the electoral college. The electoral college is the key here. From the text of the 12th Amendment:

The Electors shall meet in their respective states.

Ok, so when do they meet? Title 3 USC 7:

The electors of President and Vice President of each State shall meet and give their votes on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December next following their appointment

Well when do they get appointed? Again from Title 3 USC 1:

The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November.

Now the kicker, again Title 3 USC 2:

Whenever any State has held an election for the purpose of choosing electors, and has failed to make a choice on the day prescribed by law, the electors may be appointed on a subsequent day in such a manner as the legislature of such State may direct.

Vote by mail virtually guarantees this choice will fail, the ballot will be voided, and the electors will be chosen by the states' legislatures.

I agree, it's just that chaos is difficult to see through, and chaos is exactly what the democrats have planned.

Clausewitz enumerated chaos as one of the elements of war. Chaos enables chance, and chance is how an outmatched force can achieve victory.

Ah those pesky amendments. Aren’t we still fighting over the phrasing of “shall not be infringed”? The odds are that Pelosi will not be bumped to President, but this is 2020 so who knows?

Exactly. They pulled a Romney/Ryan or a Kerry/Edwards. Put someone up there to lose then put your best foot forward next time.

Notes: It took me like 30 seconds of deep thought to remember the name of Delecto's running mate.

At the time they seemed ok. I mean Obama was so terrible I would have voted for Bush Jr instead.

I was still brainwashed back then, so I yucked it up with Jon Stewart over his 'binders full of women' stuff.

Even if that’s the plan Pelosi will likely stroke around in the middle of their schemes and further reveal the Clown show that is the Democrat party.
