We need a State Sheriff. If they need a state attorney (AG) why not a state cop?
Florida Sheriff General Grady Judd has a nice ring to it.
That way if you are in the state of Florida his jurisdiction = your ass.
Elected position by the people to coordinate and oversee the state police agencies.
I don't know shit about police administration and am talking out of my ass, for the record. Not sure if this is a good idea or not. To be frank, I'm mainly concerned with figuring out a way I can get Sheriff Grady jurisdiction over my town.
Do you know how much it takes a man that just made chief of police at 40 years old quit his job just like that?
This isn't some 65 year old chief that is moving up his retirement by a few years. This is a police officer in the prime of his career handing them his badge and gun and letting them deal with the mess they created.
This is the tipping point, IMO.
