The born free generation has to put up with Discrimination by law when it comes to job seeking. You may disagree with the policy or not, but it does beg questions like: When has equity been achieved so the policy can wind down? We agree discrimination is and was wrong.
The argument for Discrimination says that the Born Free generation benefited from the policies of the former government, so there must be a period of time to rectify the effects of those policies. I can see the logic, but it does feel morally gray.
From what I understand, the ANC government has been much worse than prior governments when it comes to job creation. Apartheid is indefensible, but you still can compare the ANC government to its predecessors. How do you build an inclusive economy with job growth so everyone becomes well off?

Fixed it to read "Since apartheid ended". The idea of racial segregation doesn't sit well with me. I was raised on MLK Jr. ideals and I am willing to fight to uphold them.
