Multiple times I encountered people like this, I explained to them that even if you take what she is saying to be 100% true all that was claimed to have happened was that when they were teenagers she was drunkenly groped over her cloths at a party, yelled at him, had her mouth covered while screaming, then ran downstairs. This was always responded with something like "there has to be more to it, your not telling the whole story." I could then show them the women written testimony, and they would still not believe that was the entire claim.
Not the first time she's spoken for the left. She was at the Women's March too.
As for where they keep finding them, it seems obvious that they deliberately choose them. Internally, there must be evidence that a demographic will vote based on that endorsement. (young women? Social media is full of them hating on men.)
