I'm Asian, and you're not wrong, but I want to clarify that there were many different "waves" and types of Asians that immigrated here.
The earlier wave of Asians from post WWII were typically very smart and/or very grateful. Immigration "reform" happened in the 70s and 80s enabling more opportunistic types coming over.
I've known both types. A lot of the ones on the West Coast right now were from a China rush that ended only recently.
This. The average IQ in China is 115 and yet everything they made is shit. They can't invent for shit either. They only can do is to rip off the US's products such as Huawei. Chinese medical research field is full of fraud. It is pathetic, really.
I agree. I always find IQ for Chinese dubious because Chinese are famous for cheating their way into wherever. I only used 115 IQ because it is the only data that I have. Maybe China only allows smart people to take IQ tests.

First IQ tests test what I'm going to call processing intelligence...how good a person is at processing data. Chinese are good at this because their whole culture and mindset is pretty cut and dry. Jews I don't know as much about, but their culture/religion seems to really care about intricate rules (and how to get around them).
However, both cultures suck at creating anything truly original because when you highy value rules and literality, you also become trapped by those rules.
IQ only takes you so far. It's the free minds that change the world.
(Btw, Einstein stole all his equations and theories from other scientists without crediting them. Mark my words, one day he'll be seen as the greatest charlatain in the history of science.)
