The earlier wave of Asians from post WWII were typically very smart and/or very grateful. Immigration "reform" happened in the 70s and 80s enabling more opportunistic types coming over.

First IQ tests test what I'm going to call processing intelligence...how good a person is at processing data. Chinese are good at this because their whole culture and mindset is pretty cut and dry. Jews I don't know as much about, but their culture/religion seems to really care about intricate rules (and how to get around them).
However, both cultures suck at creating anything truly original because when you highy value rules and literality, you also become trapped by those rules.
IQ only takes you so far. It's the free minds that change the world.

Being such a prominent scientist, there are a lot of conspiracy theories around his work: one is that his wife was the brains behind it, the other being that he plagiarized everything. Both are absurd and only repeated by idiots.
Without going into much detail, the argument is that since Einstein used certain equations derived by other people (such as the Lorentz contraction) in his work, that means he didn't actually create his theories. This isn't how physics works. To give a simple example, one of Newton's laws states that force=mass x acceleration. If someone took this and discovered a new application for this equation, they wouldn't be considered a plagiarist.
Since Einstein has constants, branches of math and even an exotic state of matter named after him, he's the real deal.

People that use a hieroglyphic writing system like the Chinese are going to naturally perform better on many of the ways we test for IQ. I’d believe they test higher, but I don’t know that test scores = intelligence.

I just think IQ is the basic rate of which a group or individual can process data and adapt to society but I don't think it is a determinant of success or is the biggest identifier of intelligence or brilliance.
