She called me after leaving the grocery store with my daughter. As she was walking around without a mask, there were two instances where people made eye contact with her and removed their masks.
We just have to keep at it and this bullshit will be all over.
I've noticed less people give me looks for not wearing a mask. I'm torn because in PA small businesses are literally trying to stay afloat and not draw attention from the governor else he sends in his brown shirts with a fine. I sometimes do the courtesy and wear one in those places because they are struggling. However, as of late I've worn it less. I will wear one to the doctors office because, sick and old people. I haven't been confronted in a long time actually. One time was at Costco in April and the store manager asked me to please wear one and she hoped it would end soon. My patience is gone now. What really pissed me off is seeing my little kids wear masks to go to school. We are fortunate the district did everything in their power to open normal and offer virtual options. 21 if 24 Kids in my son's 1st grade opted for in person. I knew then everyone was ready for normal. Their little faces covered with a mask infuriate me so much. I tell them every day this isn't normal and it'll be over soon. I do fear the day a Karen approaches me though. She'll get the death stare and the words "do you want to do this with me today". Though, I am 6'8" with a prosthetic leg and often wear very American attire on my outings. I probably look pissed off half the time. I'm not a suitable target for infamous "the Karen".
