I agree, but they seem pretty serious about their encryption and base their whole business model on it. I've never seen any other company go through such detailed explanations. If they did back door your information and sell it off, their whole reason to be would be gone, and they would be wiped off the map in days, in my opinion.
They're actually pretty based and anti big tech... they tell you Google can and does read your mail, they say theirs is fully encrypted even for them.

10 million users isn't bad, it's a Swiss company. And if there's any country that's pretty good with confidentiality, I would say it's the Swiss.
