People of all races, genders, ages, sexual orientation, and religious (or non-religious) beliefs can (and will) have their power cut.

I don't see that, but I could see the state mandating quotas on corporate boards and things of that nature. I don't think anyone should be criticized unfairly due to their race and California assembly has voted to implement Discrimination in college admissions and hiring for government employees. Now its a referendum to voters in the Fall.
