Okay, are you ready to give up the Bill of Rights, especially the first two?

Didn't think so.

I hear what you're saying, but do you think people in Sweden are happier than most of the U.S. right now? I think they are. If their news media aren't spouting false rhetoric about your President 24/7 I think they feel better. I would.

Paying attention to the MSM is your first problem.

As for happiness, that all depends on how you define it. I could not be happy living in a European country, which does not have a history of personal liberty. Sweden handled Covid properly, but they still are a cucked European nation. They have no guarantee of freedom of speech. They have no right to bear arms. Did you know Sweden (or Europe, for that matter) has no conservative talk radio, just to take one example? No Rush, no Mark Levin, no Bongino, no Tucker, etc. (whatever flavor happens to be yours). There's a reason Europe (and Sweden) leans Left. They rarely hear another side.

Our forefathers warned us that freedom has to be fought for, and defended. We are in the midst of one of those times. I'm much happier fighting for this great country than I would ever be living on a continent that prefers the EU over liberty.

No. They are not. My aunt is from Sweden. She travels there frequently. Her family all still lives there. Sweden has not been the same since they allowed all the Muslims. Rape and crime is way up. My aunt said (before the pandemic shutdown stuff, right after she went there for Christmas) that she doubts she will go back again. Her family wants to come here. Don’t be down on America. Maybe your area sucks, but $40,000 a year could get you a great life in beautiful South Dakota which is way better than Sweden.

How is the 1st Amendment being protected by our present elected "leadership"?

The First Amendment is under assault in many places to be sure, but at least we have one. It must be fought for and defended. Our founding fathers warned us about this. Sweden has no history of guaranteed freedom of speech.

Do you think it's easier to defend the First in a country that's always had it, or attempt to create one in a country that never has?

Well, I’m old, that’s for sure, and age tends to give one a perspective that youth cannot. Experience is a type of wisdom, I would hope.
