Sky Building is some tough shit, man. I liked using the mod packs with those cheap and easy scaffold blocks, where you can make a million of them from just some sticks, climb up the sides as if they're all covered by ladders, etc. And a bonus was if you climb down and remove one scaffold block without holding Shift, you break down the entire scaffold and can take it to do some other task!
Of course, the downside of that is I'm playing with my brother and cousins, and if they're on the ground when I'm building, suddenly my entire Scaffold range that I've constructed so I can furnish the underside of my crand archway/floating island/airship/gigantic underground cavern room HOUSING my floating islands or airships, etc, POOF, it's all gone, and I find myself plummeting like an asshole as they laugh and laugh...

Decided to sanitize all the surfaces in the adjoining hallway and inspect any food storage spaces for Mousery, too, because of Thoroughness. Closet Tenants are all evicted, dog is walked, laundry is going, a quick lunch break, then I start putting together a new bookcase for my basement full of awesome things where nobody else goes so I can have at least one location in the house that's not a smouldering ruin where nobody takes care of anything but me. Well, it's still where nobody takes care of anything but me, but I'm the only one who actively hangs out down there, so it works out.
But yeah, days off turn into Today, so I'd be the guy with the 5x5 house with a half-dug basement on the Pedecraft Server, and a "to-do" signpost with grand dreams listed that will never get done.
