Ironically, Obama won the Presidency for being half-white. A fully black man would have been too ethnic to get elected. The Democrats got that tingly feeling in their leg for Obama because he had dark skin that wasn't too dark, and a soothingly rich speaking voice that didn't say 'axe' for 'ask.'
