Oddly that gives me hope. Netflix and Amazon are fascinating in that they have details of viewship behavior that Neilson couldn't even dream of. Both of them seem to have figured out that Americans are rejecting their gay agenda, so instead they're trying a new technique of bait and switch where they make a decent show for a year, then once people are invested its homos everywhere.
Basically their data has demonstrated that Americans are not on board with this bullshit.
Altered Carbon on Netflix did alright with season 1. They then replaced the "too many white men" writing team. They bragged in an article about how there are now mostly women and black gay men now working on the writing team. Show was cancelled after that season.
I really don't think Netflix cares though. I am starting to feel like it doesn't exist to make good content but to serve as a channel for propaganda.
Netflix was a dead company walking long before they got woke. The question was always could traditional media build an online distribution medium faster than Netflix could become a content maker. Smart money was always against Netflix winning that race.
That’s their MO. Hook you with a great the first season, then season 2 and onward they inject the SJW programming.
They know we’re savvy enough to not even start watching if it’s in the trailer or season 1, so now they bait & switch. I’ve abandoned multiple good series for this reason.
So true. That’s actually why I loved season one of Cobra Kai. Just a cool catch up story of Johnny and Daniel.
Of course in season two there’s a gay person in it for the sake of having a gay person.
