Just from watching the local news I can already tell this school year is going to be completely FUCKED. They won't stop pushing all their lies until there's a vaccine, bullshit!

It was never about opening schools. It was about the appearance of "trying" so the teachers can get another year of full salary without working so they can concentrate on their civil war.

Teapot_Gravy 32 points ago +32 / -0

That salary, and more. Teacher here have "demands" that they want met, many having nothing to do with schooling at all.

Also, the mayor broke into every channels morning programming, Breaking News! style, to announce a city wide campaign to get everyone a flu shot. This after all the morning personalities had each gotten a jab on their show. The city are "targeting" low income and uninsured areas, offering the vaccines for free. And if you a few extra bucks, you can donate to this fund so those that can't afford it will get one of those free "vouchers". Saying things like "We just need to educate the public on the safety of the flu vaccine". Some of the morning personalities had little skits ready, "Wow, fellow news reader, you did a great job! And I know you dont like needles". "Ugh, I know! But i didnt even feel it. No big deal!" I've never seen a push like this, ever. It's unsettling. After learning what I have about TPTB, I wouldnt put it past this flu shot to make covid worse, there's your second wave, and they shut everything, not just schools, again.

I think some of the eggheads are saying just that, the flu shot makes the shanghai shivers worse.

Shanghai shivers, kek.

Yep, many of them are out working as "peaceful protestors", double dipping from the Soros teat plus their teacher's salary.

"Education" in our country needs to be razed and rebuilt. Right now it is nothing but marxist indoctrination.

2 weeks to flatten the curve! Curve is flat now. We'll stay locked down until Trump is voted out or there's a cure for death. Such a scam.

Meanwhile if you want to protest or riot, go for it.

Sum_devil 34 points ago +34 / -0

They will do it each time. So easy to test positive for any coronavirus and then claim it’s covid 19. The point is to tire everyone out from all the hoop jumping that we gladly welcome anything to make it stop.

13
Rginap 13 points ago +13 / -0

Not only that but testing positive doesn’t mean shit. They probably get the sniffles or cough since they’re young. Big whoop.

23
Jabron661 23 points ago +24 / -1

This is the big lie in all the covid bullshit.

They have equated the word "cases" and "positive" as sick or dying, and that is a huge lie.

These tests are designed to count almost any virus DNA as a positive test, a "case" and if you have a case, they have people believing that someone is sick, but practically no one is actually sick, or contagious.

This is the biggest mass hysteria lie ever perpetrated in the history of the world.

The true goal, make everyone miserable until theyre willing to accept any shit the globalists want to push on us.

ImWithHurrDurr 17 points ago +17 / -0

At least your schools opened in the first place. I am having to homeschool a gaggle of kids (pulled them out officially when they closed the schools a week before they were supposed to open.). They aren't getting my tax dollars if the don't want to teach.

8
chambleepede 8 points ago +8 / -0

Don't they get your tax dollars anyway?

9
ImWithHurrDurr 9 points ago +9 / -0

No. In almost all states, school funding is based on enrollment (TX, CA, and a few others are based attendance.) So all my kids not being enrolled = less money for their schools.

5
chambleepede 5 points ago +5 / -0

But you still pay the taxes, right?

1
vinnychase 1 point ago +1 / -0

In America, if you don't pay taxes, you go to prison. Freedom

0
HuggableBear 0 points ago +1 / -1

Yeah, but he's saying it will get used for something besides the schools.

It's not much better, but it does hurt the schools.

3
RabidZoo 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm considering talking to the local Amish and see if they'll accept my kid into their school!

2
RoosterRaiser 2 points ago +2 / -0

Don't. They do not teach what kids need to know. And many times the instruction is in German.

2
RabidZoo 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm not...it was more of a joke than anything. My kid would not assimilate into an Amish class very well...lol

2
vinnychase 2 points ago +2 / -0

If he isn't Amish they most likely won't unfortunately

There won't ever be a real vaccine. Maybe a placebo that they use after the election to justify opening up (if Biden wins), but there are already 5 or 6 strains. Next year there will be 30 strains, then the year after 200 strains.

The curve is flat, we have excellent treatments,. Admit the truth and open up.

5
Teapot_Gravy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Trump has turned Heels up Harris into an anti vaxxer already. She said in a recent interview that she wouldn't trust a Trump vaccine what with him suppressing science and all. Is he going to turn the left into anti vaxxers?

3
SordidPontification 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yep, given that they're out there in full force saying that vaccines won't be ready in time for the election--or possibly never--it's pretty obvious that they want COVID-19 to remain their boogeyman to sew fear, uncertainty, and doubt into the public.

Clearly it's not about a virus. It's about control.

Bramble 1 point ago +1 / -0

That there are 5 or 6 strains?

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/08/200803105246.htm

If Covid turned from one strain to 6 in less than a year, there is every chance that each one will turn into 6 more next year, and each of those, 6 more the year after.

It's what viruses do. It's why there is a flu shot ever year, and they're just guessing at which 2 or 3 will become widespread.

Been forecasting this for my area all summer. Schools just started this week. As soon as Half-Whitmer gets enough cases she's going to declare schooling too dangerous and lock us all back down again.

Make sure you have a plan for your kids not being at school if you have a Dem Gov. Also extra food/supplies on hand for after election issues.

8
RabidZoo 8 points ago +8 / -0

Well...we don't have a vaccine for the common cold...and the death rate is right around the same according to the CDC for 'at risk' folks...so yeah...

IT'S ALL BULLSHIT.

8
Rginap 8 points ago +8 / -0

So every time people get sick now it’s called an outbreak? Ridiculous. Guess that’s how they have to keep people scared and under control.

7
booster_red 7 points ago +7 / -0

I always see people freaked our about cases when cases aren't that important. 90% are false positives. How many were hospitalized or died? The important numbers are falling.

Where? The over-under for NYC public schools is three weeks, but I’m starting to think that should be revised down.

Open one day and we know there is a China virus outbreak.

Thought it took several days to two weeks for test results??

5
CommietownUSA 5 points ago +5 / -0

Same here. Someone emailed a bomb/mass shooting threat to all the schools in the area and now there will be no in-person teaching until further notice.

My wife teaches third grade in a small town. They were prepping for a "hybrid model" education, which is the stupidest idea ever, 1/2 the kids M&T, clean on Wednesday, 1/2 the kids T&F while still doing on line classes everyday. The school cancelled the hybrid and are remaining on line only, simply because someone showed symptoms, not even tested positive.

Side note- while some teachers are certainly taking advantage and slacking, not all are. Please don't forget about the ones that are spending more time teaching from home than they ever would have to in class. My wife is busting her ass trying to learn and develop ways to connect w her students and then teaching those methods to other teachers to keep as many kids engaged and learning as possible.

sicKENasty 4 points ago +4 / -0

To keep my kids from dealing with a yo yo effect, I enrolled them in a real home school program.

Once this covid crap runs its course, I’ll look at putting them back in public school or even a Christian private school. Right now the school district in Colorado is to wishy washy and can’t come up with a good plan.

Watch for the ones who claim this will still be necessary after a vaccine and we'll have to live with this for a long time.

3
BrewSwillis 3 points ago +3 / -0

It has nothing to do with a "vaccine", which now they are saying won't be ready for a long time now, "because they won't be rushed by Trump". The supposed vaccine won't do anything anyway. This virus is over for people with normal immune systems, which is 99% of the world. It always has been. For the remaining 1%, we have HCQ, zinc, and vitamin D.

Closing schools is about Democrat unions inflicting as much pain on the country as possible, in order to get you to vote for a "better" President. The whole pretending to open schools, just to close them again, plays right into that.

3
quazl 3 points ago +3 / -0

Move to Georgia. Kemp has made our state Great. We were one of the first states to open and one of the states to keep cases low.

Cases in Georgia only close the classroom not the school.

3
RoosterRaiser 3 points ago +3 / -0

Our schools have been open for a couple weeks. There have been a few cases, mostly teachers. Only one school closed for cleaning, then reopened. The rest are open & no changes. We are having sports events & club meetings. Basically we are back to normal. Oh, and NO mask requirements, it's voluntary and hardly anyone is wearing them.

I do live in a dark Red area, people are not idiots 'round here.

for the younger grades, massive hair-on-fire fear porn for the kids and parents and schools are closed. if they can't indoctrinate them, the plan is to keep them stupid altogether. for college students, here's the reality, if they'd just let things be--the numbers in this article make one question the need to shut down college football or anything else. no hospitalizations, no deaths.

I'm all for home schooling. I also know it's not feasible for everyone. Thus, we need both. I happen to live in a great school district (small, small town) so I love our public school. Before we lived in an awful district & I home schooled. It's possible to be for both.

2
nomoreprinkles 2 points ago +2 / -0

The only thing that students have to learn is Black Lives Matter and that can be indoctrinated in a day

2
Hillary-Digs-a-Hole 2 points ago +2 / -0

This has nothing to do with stopping covid, they are using it as an excuse. They would shutdown people just with the possibility.

I got my degree in Spring 2019 and got a job by the end of the year

I dodged a fucking bullet and am endlessly grateful for it every day. Can’t imagine being in school right now

To hell with these would-be overlords. These administrators deserve prison.

1
White-tailed_Eagle 1 point ago +1 / -0

In England, new rules are that you cannot meet in groups of more than 6. yet schools are still open and the pupils are very likely to be in classrooms with more than six people in them. If people can interact in schools with extremely low risk than shouldn't it be possible in almost every place?

1
onetruecliff 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have hopes that many parents will work to homeschool their children, and this will be a good step towards shattering the indoctrination stronghold on public education.

1
JeremiahKassin 1 point ago +1 / -0

Statistically speaking, those 3 tests are more likely than not false positives.

1
VinnyMAGA 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not until there's a vaccine. Until November 4th.
