For those familiar with their bibles it's really worth noting that Christianity's enemy is not primarily some sort of evil foreign religion or a Ghengis Khan but what is most warned about over and over: Counterfeit Christ.

As someone that's not religious it makes me happy that it gives people a sense of purpose, but seeing religious exemptions for various laws but not for personal beliefs is a bit discouraging.
I was like that as well. Grew up in a Christian home but in true hypocritical fashion, I ran wild for many years, until I moved to Seattle. It changed my life. The level of depravity in that city is something to behold. It’s bad, and the bad is encouraged and praised. People talk about Vegas or New Orleans for party cities, but if you want to indulge in your inner most pleasures, Seattle has it available and no one would question you.
After reflection, I finally sat down and actually just read the Bible myself, comparing it with the history of Judaism and Islam and researching the historical claims in the Bible with that of the Jewish nation and their records and those of archaeologists and historians. I don’t know what happened but it all finally clicked for me. It took me well over 30 something years for it to register.

Not really. What makes you think they haven't done anything? Just because they haven't been able to act on it doesn't mean they haven't done anything. Plenty of white supremacists have been arrested for plotting violence and acts of terror. They haven't been able to stop the riots because that falls under local jurisdiction. Once they violate federal law, that's when the hammer comes down.

Sorry to get on my soapbox but I dislike the term nationalism and I always will. I'm weary of anything that ends in an "ism" in general. I love the idea of America but let us not be blindly patriotic because if Joe Biden wins and the left gets their way America isn't going to be a capitalist country with individual liberty anymore. We must not lose sight of the fact that we're fighting for the continued existence of the core principles of America, and that that is such a larger concept than just defending the dirt where we happen to live.
I understand why it seems appealing to embrace a nationalist ideology but I disagree with Trump on the usefulness of this one. We don't need to embrace nationalism to win this and I think by doing so we actually are making the same mistake that will destroy the left in the end. The internal consistency of the philosophical message is the part of the libertarian platform that I think Republicans could most benefit from personally because it will provide longevity beyond Trump's second term. Trump has all the charisma in the world to win the election, but if we want to keep it going in 2024 we're going to need to reinforce the pillars of the platform of popular opinion that is being built under him.
What we need to do is reaffirm what makes America great and double-down on that using the very same rebranding technique the left uses to change capitalism and individualism into different words to describe the same thing. Capitalism was originally a derogatory term anyway so we don't really need it we can just use commerce or investment or property. Individualism is an ideology that operates like an anti-ideology in that it is pretty much impossible to organize around but that concept is too complicated for most people so we'll just call it individualism liberty instead. Let's move Republicans away from nationalist ideology and toward the philosophy of freedom for all individuals equally and without exception.

The crisis is about ending the US as a sovereign Nation. Not merely maintaining its current borders and changing the system within it, which the Constitution does allow for.
