There is no peaceful resolution. There just isn't strong enough opposition to count as a Civil War. But something uncivil has to be done. Likewise the term 1776 doesn't fit, because the Federal government hasn't completely overstepped or ignored the Constitution. There's plenty of corruption there, with relatively few worth keeping.

State and local governments are full of shit though. Drastic measures are in order.
