For those familiar with their bibles it's really worth noting that Christianity's enemy is not primarily some sort of evil foreign religion or a Ghengis Khan but what is most warned about over and over: Counterfeit Christ.

The 'Anti-Christ' isn't the 'Opposite' so much as a 'Fake Christ'.

The Early Church was in its worst battle - not against Roman soldier as much as 'Gnostics', who had a kind of parallel but warped (but similar sounding) gospel and teachings and were happy to slide into church pews and fit right in.

To the French Revolution and where we get the term and modern 'Leftists' what were they trying to do: Replace Christianity - not with 'atheism' - but with Pseudo-Pagan parallels. (a lot of weird shit really but a kind of pseudo-pre-christian fantasy occult pagany nonsense).

But it does seem like they get stuck on 'Forgiveness' (as in the grace concept of Christianity) and so it's not surprising that without it they have returned to pre-Christian concepts of 'Tribal Curses' and 'Blood Libel', genetic debts, racial categories and Identity groups who never have 'forgiveness' but only tallying their guilt or victim points and then trying to make them all have even point tallies.

They really have to do that because without Christian forgiveness.. well that IS what people did and how they deal with things without Christianity and before Christianity.

So the Left just goes back 2000 years to Blood Debts, Tribal Sin Counting and genealogy.
