Individual liberty, property = the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This is a good summary of "nationalism," and it should be stated that the rest of it is also in our founding documents.

The crisis is about ending the US as a sovereign Nation. Not merely maintaining its current borders and changing the system within it, which the Constitution does allow for.
