In industries like banking or insurance they require you to be bonded before you go into business, and to get bonded often you need a bachelor’s degree or an MBA.
I went to school with a guy who was independently wealthy at 25, after he and his buddy bought his dad’s plastics company and secured a bunch of government contracts.
He was using that wealth to start an insurance company but couldn’t get bonded without his MBA. Maybe Nick has the same plans, use his money to open a bank, and then he can loan CNN the money they need to keep the lights on.
If you want a career in a STEM field then indeed college is a requirement. We need more people like us in college and in institutional positions of power like government and business. This right wing idea of just running away from anything a liberal touches is pure cowardice masking itself in this "well fuck you" defiance tone.

Because he wants a good future and the reality is that you need to go through college to get that.
