Anybody who actually thinks the lead investigator of a case of this magnitude is going to tell you exactly what he is doing, simply does not understand how criminal investigations work.
Brennan's spokesperson said that Barr said that Brennan wasn't a suspect or target.
And the spokesperson presumably got it from Brennan. And Brennan is a proven liar, so there's that.
