I'm curious how the movie will turn out. I'm still slightly miffed about the genderswap for swapping purposes. Though it may be the casting ended up going for person that better understood the character and could bring Kynes to life(for the short duration the character appears).
The studio had to gender/race swap Liet-Kynes in order to keep the woke mob at bay. This movie has a very serious budget and they don't want to see what happened to Joker happen to Dune.

Great book, pretty sweet original movie. But this remake looks like some weak ass woke shit and straight up David Lynch copying
