So not as many old people to catch Kung Flu and die. Morbid obesity, one of the major preexisting conditions leading to Kung Flu death is practically non existent in Africa with hunger being a widespread issue in many areas. Plus anyone with any kind of serious health issue likely isn't living long as medical care, especially long term care is severely lacking. So no very ill to kill off. And finally, everyone's in the sun all the time getting their Vitamin D. Seems pretty obvious even to us non medical types.
