ROFL, funny you should mention this, i live in the east bay area, and a coworker brings in the east bay times every day. they had a 1 page article where they blamed all the wildfires on trump and climate change. no mention whatsoever of controlled burns like they used to do back in the 70s/80s/90s. you know, back when wildfires werent out of control like they are now.
Even the ancient native tribes in California set controlled fires (better to flush out game from gameless redwood forests). And they still say that the Native Americans "respected Mother Nature".
Quick hint: Mother Nature wants to kill us and wouldn't care if it did. That goes for the rest of the animal kingdom at that. If humanity wants to preserve what we have, we have to shape it. We are a crucial part of nature.
Greenpeace would be happiest if all of humanity disappeared overnight. Except them of course.
Yeah I had to stop my sub for East Bay Times because they would always do crap like you mentioned with the whole climate change crap. Subtle but people eat it up. Mayor of my city is going to address climate change in the next city council meeting...I just can’t anymore with most people here.
