I am off to bed. Prayers for those that need them and for this that think they don’t.
One finale thing: I WANT MY PRE-SCAMDEMIC LIFE BACK!
I miss it so much and it’s causing such unnecessary struggle for a lot of people. It’s BULLSHIT
Sameeee. My female friends won't leave their houses. It's just me and my husband's friends. I am so sick of talking about cars LOL But I do like the politics :)
Me too 😌.
Based on what I read on a function constructor, it looks as if it’s a function that is basically a template to create an object.
Think of it like a recipe for cookies. The function constructor is the base recipe for a sugar cookie. The items defined within the base sugar cookie can be changed. Some people bake with sugar. Other people cookie with Stevia.
The variables assigned when you call a constructor can vary.
If I wanted to be adventurous, I can take the base cookie recipe and make a third cookie, this time using brown sugar.
I know it sounds stupid, but that’s the best way I can explain it. Just based on what I read. Been forever since I coded in it. I do more DB work than language coding.
I like this analogy
And now... oddly enough... and without any apparent reason... I'm craving cookies.
#metoo
You have received a cookie. Do you wish to accept it yes/no
<3 YES <3
cookies are good
Glad it helped!
I agree! They like whatever is currently popular on Instagram
Kanye is that you?
I am a rapper. I am a GENIUS.
Fishsticks are breaded. FRIED. frozen.
not necessarily in that order but I'm still in.
I don’t either! Most likely they’re single or their husbands are wimps
You can do it!! YAY you are the ONE!!
biggest thing I hate about python....white space matters. I hate languages that care about indenting and trailing white spaces. curly braces ftw
Sounds really really racist!
Not only is it racist, it’s SEXIST! They call it python?! that is clear male phallic imagery, this is clearly the patriarchy attempting to mind rape women into quitting Computer science so they can force them back into the kitchen to be simply brood mares to boost thier own fragile egos
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
blue hair intensifies
Been feeling lonely lately 😔
😆 LOL
You know how a ton of TDS liberal women were having Trump sex dreams? How come conservative women never get them? Totally not fair, lmao 😆
😂😂😂
I'm sorry you've been feeling lonely. I wish I could make you feel better. You may feel lonely but you aren't alone. ❤️
Thanks. I am pretty alone though. :(
You might be alone in your physical life, but in your virtual life you have people who are here for you. And we are real people behind these usernames. I know that doesn't change the fact that you feel lonely. But I want you to know that I did go to bed last night thinking about you and you're the first person I thought of when I woke up this morning. (Which is why I'm on here now)
Do you want to talk about what's going on? Why you feel so lonely?
Edit: Just sent you a private message. Let me know if don't get it! :) Hope you're having a better day!
^THIS.
Talk to Miss B, lil' lonelypede. She's a based den-mama, she will do you good.
Awe sorry fren. We are here for you...Love ya :)
Thanks, I just wish I had somebody to talk to... a friend, who is on the same wavelength I am
You're more than welcome to shoot me a line whenever you like! Throughout the years I've met some of my greatest friends online, but unfortunately the majority has either moved away or succumbed to TDS 🙄; whatever, cancer excised - out with the old, in with the new!
Hang in there, fren. You got this. Have you tried any peaceful protest Trump/MAGA rallies? Any place where you could meet similar-minded people?
Actually, I live in Canuckistan. I can’t go to a Trump rally unfortunately. As for other things, I have no idea. I don’t know where to look.
Ah, bummer. Mayhaps church or a gun range? Any based Canadian politicians on the rise?
Church wouldn’t be a bad idea, but I’m not very religious.
There are a few based politicians here. Maxime Bernier, Derek Sloan, Leslyn Lewis, and Pierre Poilievre are all good
Eat some chocolate!! Got any hobbies? I'm an avid reader. I'm a 73 year old lady who has been alone for many years by choice. After my divorce, it took quite a while for me to feel comfortable doing things by myself, but I eventually learned to enjoy traveling alone, driving all over the south visiting Civil War battlefields, and doing historical research. My youngest son lived with me for a while, and at one point I thought the only way I'd get him to move out was if I died. Thank God it didn't get to that point ;-) I will admit there was a time I said to myself, that if I didn't have someone by the time I was 50, I really didn't want to live alone. I look back on that and say what the fuck was I thinking? I realize now I was just feeling sorry for myself. As far as my experiences with the opposite sex, I learned a long time ago that I would rather live alone and be happy, than live with someone, and be totally miserable, because that can happen too.
I loved reading your story above and here. There are so many wonderful ways to love this crazy life. Happy researching :)
I never got to the part where I spent 25 years in uniform as a Correctional Officer, and Sergeant in New York State's prison system. Only worked in men's prisons. I was among a handful of females who started working in the system back then. The job was the means for me to pursue my research, because I got decent vacations, and you could swap days and shifts with other people to get extra time off to connect with your vacations.
Wow, you're a total badass!
LOL!! I used to be. It was actually easier to get an inmate to comply than my own kid. I'd come home from work at 9 p.m., and have to fight with him because he hadn't done his homework. I'm glad those days are long gone.
Thanks for sharing your story. History buff too. After watching the Civil War series years ago made me wish I had gotten a degree in American History. I found the Civil War both haunting and fascinating. Being from the South I too have always wanted to go visit all the Battlefields. Sad now the tearing down of all the statues. I wonder how long before many of those parks will still exist after President Trump leaves office in 12 years..:) hehe. I retired 3 years ago from the medical field.
You can go to any historical society, or library that has manuscript collections or microfilms that you can go through. I found that many newspapers that were published during the war, offered letters that were sent home from men in the field. Sometimes they had regular reports from someone serving in a local regiment. I spent a lot of my vacations at the National Archives, going through Civil War military and pension records. The pension records can be a goldmine of history as the veteran had to be able to document his injury in order to qualify for a pension. They had to talk about their lives, and health prior to the war, what led to their disability, and how it had affected their lives and ability to make a living after the war. I found lots of fascinating information in them...even photos, and newspaper articles about the veteran. They also had to have affidavits from people who knew them before the war to attest to their good health, and from fellow soldiers and doctors who could attest to their illness, or injury while in service.
I did a paper for college once that focused on medical technology developed during the war. William A. Hammond was the Surgeon General for a couple of years, and repeatedly butted heads with Sec. of War Edwin Stanton over many things. Hammond had visited military hospitals in Europe after the Crimean War, and attempted to introduce some of the medical procedures and treatments they used there. He fought against the red tape in Washington that hindered his being able to get supplies that were needed to the field, and to the military hospitals, and did whatever he could to create a better medical corps. Stanton fired him after two years. It was really a shame because Hammond had implemented a lot of things that helped reduce mortality. One of the places I never got to was the Army Medical Museum when it was at Walter Reed Hospital. The museum has been renamed, and a separate building for it built in Silver Spring, Md. Of course it's closed due to the Kung Flu. Here's the link to the site if you're interested. I'm not sure how far a trip it would be for you:
https://www.medicalmuseum.mil
Forgot to mention in my last reply that on July 24th of this year, the Democrat House passed Bill HR - 7608, in which there are three separate provisions regarding anything Confederate The first deals with when, and where the Confederate flag may be flown. The second requires the removal of ALL Confederate monuments, statues, plaques, memorials, etc. from ALL National Park Service sites...that includes battlefields. The third provision requires the changing of the name of all military bases named after members of the Confederacy. The Bill is sitting in the Senate, but if the Democrats take control of the Senate, and the Bill is still viable in the new Congress, they will move it forward. If Biden is elected, we all know what that means.
Virtual hug. Sometimes I feel it in my skin and in my bones. Haven't been hugged in 3 months...
Hang in there, frens. <3 It's a difficult, weird time. Humans aren't made for social isolation. It's not natural, and it's totally normal to feel that.
Sorry to hear that, fren. I feel it like that sometimes as well. Need somebody to talk to?
Good for you...Just start a little bit each day. I started calve lifts 4 years ago while at the kitchen sink...that led to modified squats holding on to counter in front of sink. Which then led to legs lifts holdig on to side of stove. Then wall push ups on wall in front a fridge. Everyday sometime morning and night. I just came easy (no gym needed). Feels so good...
You too!! Yeah I also exercise in the shower too..LOL Hey whatever works. I now have no more excuses....:)
You like 45 squats per day, too? "We should hang out." My "45" workout consists of 45 squats, 45 seconds of plank, 45 "ab bicycles" and 45 wall pushups. Takes about 15 minutes, which sadly is all the time I can spare, and even more sadly, all my body can do right now. Feeling good tho; my first 2 weeks I needed to split it all into 3 sets, now I'm down to 2. Sometimes I get lazy and don't want to feel the burn, but then I think of GEOTUS and all the hardships he's endured and figure I can probably finish the last 7 seconds of plank.
You've motivated me.
I'm not a lady. But one of my friends is, and GEOTUS announced her today as one of the new additions to his list of SCOTUS picks. I know firsthand that he picked a bunch of WINNERS!
I knew you were some kind of secret badass. I freakin knew it.
LOL I am simply a humble meme farmer tending my memes, but fortunate enough to know people who are badasses.
We are all WINNERS in the company of WINNERS!
Love you ladies! Seeing more and more Trump Pence flags and signs in my community. I love living in a conservative county. Feelz good, man.
I woke up this morning and the sky outside my window was bright orange. (S.F.) For a moment I thought "What fresh hell is this?" Then I remembered- it's 2020! Rolled out of bed to make some covfefe
I kept lying in bed thinking it was still nighttime! Like living on Mars.
It's the end of time! Repent!
I wonder if tomorrow will be the same.
It's Orange here too in Shasta County. Stay safe lady pedes
weird how many of us are in SF
Cheers to my fellow Lady Pedes 🥂🍾
Cheers back.
I'm a 73 year old divorced woman with two sons. I divorced in 1979, and never remarried. My oldest son will be 54 in November...the youngest will be 50 in February. When I had them, I never thought I'd be raising them alone. But I did, and although it wasn't easy, I managed to go to college, have a career, and have a decent life on my own. I've been retired since 2003. I think going to college helped me to grow as a person. I didn't go to advance my career as I already had a decent paying job that I could advance in. School was a challenge for me as I'd screwed around in high school, and never applied myself. I'm a history buff, and used my education as an opportunity to pursue my historical interests. Had I remained married all those years ago, I never would have earned a Masters degree, had the amazing experiences I did, or been able to meet so many other historians like myself. The one thing I learned after retiring, is that time goes by even faster the older you get. I hope your life is as fulfilling and satisfying as mine has been.
Interesting year for a history buff to retire: 2003 has a lot of history in it: On February 1, two pilots did an incredible amount of work over the course of 52 seconds in a vain effort to save themselves and five fellow astronauts facing death at Mach 18 and FL2080. On February 20, a guy named Jack Russell had an opportunity to save up to a hundred lives by pre-empting the existence of Cascada's 2009 hit. On March 20, George W. Bush blew up Baghdad, kicking off one of the worst executed necessary wars I've ever heard of. (Second place to the previous one, which made it necessary, and which led to the murder of roughly a million freedom-loving Iraqi citizens who were lied to regarding the liberation of Iraq from Saddam Hussein.) On July 7, was the most famous and possibly most expensive chicken cannon shot in the history of chicken cannons.
Thanks for reminding me of the Columbia disaster, the Station Night Club Fire in R.I., and of course Dubya's war. It's hard to believe I've been retired that long, and how much history has taken place since then.
My oldest son gave me a book several years ago about what happened in 1947, the year I was born. Harry Truman was President. "Charlie McCarthy & Edgar Bergan" were extremely popular, the movie "The Best Years of Our Lives" came out, Jackie Robinson broke the MLB color-barrier to play for the Brooklyn Dodgers, a guy named Mauri Rose won the Indy 500, the movie "Miracle on 34th Street" was released, roller skating to Big Band music was popular, actress Jane Russell starred in the new Howard Hughes film "The Outlaws," the New York Yankees were the World Series Champs, All that makes me realize how old I am.
Oh yeah, Terminator 3 ...that was mostly forgettable, but a sight better than just about every movie I've seen from the last 5 years, and that isn't very many.
MY PRESIDENT AND HIS MOUTHPIECE K MAC ARE TRUE SAVAGES FOR TELLING THE CORRUPT MEDIA TO THEIR FACE TO SUCK A DICK AND THE RALLIES WILL CONTINUE
We peaceful protesting now!
I'm sure the ladies of TheDonald far outclass the screeching divas of Rochester... Fren-dly live stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zKM2vTNgXU

OH YES IT'S LADIES NIGHT
AND THE FEELINGS RIGHT
Just came in to drop some upvotes for all posts. We love our conservative wimmens!
Hahahahaha … love it!!!
I watched Cobra Kai over the weekend. Trump is like the modern day Johnny. Says things that aren’t politically correct, but it’s truthfully blunt.
One of the reasons I voted for him. And the Atlantic story is trash. If Trump really said the disparaging remarks, he would have never concealed them.
As for the COVID panic. Anyone remember Deep Impact? They hid a meteor from the public in it not to cause a panic. Funny how The Left is ok with it in movies but not in real life. They really are no wishing there was chaos from the get go. Please!
Cobra Kai is one of the greatest shows ever made if you lived through the 80's. Nostalgia done right and I cannot wait for season 3!
And you know, now that I think about it, I'm going to start doing what he's doing. When a lib starts talking insanity I'll just yell QUIET!!! right in their face! :D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X1i13z6mvY
Yep. I’m a child of the 80s.
I love that show. Binge- watched both seasons. Season 3 is about to come out soon I can't wait. I love Johnny too.
You gotta bingewatchit. Just like the Mandolarian. This is the way. :) Weapons are part of my religion!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHyGJowN1Mk
Speaking of binge-watching, do not, I repeat, DO NOT start watching Yellowstone. I'm a Montana-pede so naturally I was curious. ... It's a leftist progressive, contrived, politically correct shit-show that in no way represents ranching life or Montanans. It's like a train wreck that I can't look away from at this point.
Thanks for the warning..:)
Another MAGA lady pede who binged Cobra Kai this past week! Johnny is a great character and we saw a different side of him in the episode when reunited with Tommy and the old crew - especially after Tommy died. I was sad to learn Ben Garrison (actor who played Tommy) died just a few months after his Cobra Kai appearance.
Such great acting and emotions.
I had a tooth pulled and was in a good amount of pain and couldn't sleep well last wknd. Binged S1 Friday and S2 Saturday as well as rewatch of KKid1-3. Extremely pumped season 3 is finished and likely out this winter. Also, did not expect that episode where they break Johnny's friend out of the hospital. What a gut punch that episode was. Well done episode, but didn't expect that heavy subject matter.
Overall, the show had shown a growth in Johnny’s development. He’s no saint, but he’s doing the best to redeem himself and yet stays true to himself.
I also love Amanda as she’s the voice of the viewer. She’s the only one that sees what all is happening has some stupid reasoning behind it. I found myself asking questions that she’d come out and ask, too.
Ya she was great. I loved that double date episode where she doesn't beat around the bush regarding the friction between Danny and Johnny.
Love that show and how they make fun of all these PC bullshit. It’s refreshing, I’m surprised they let that air with the state of censorship nowadays.
Who remembers Land of Confusion by Genesis?
https://youtu.be/Yq7FKO5DlV0
The Reagan of the video is the Biden of Today.
y'know. I got up and made my kids breakfast. I talked to my cousins. I shitposted. I played with my cats. I took my dog for a nice walk in the orange sky. All in all it was a good day.
And then you brought Phil Collins into it. Just why.
Yuuup, I know it and the Disturbed version isn't too shabby, either
Phil Collins? The musician from London? Huh. I never would have guessed!!

We are all waiting with bated breath
Hey there ladypedes. Make sure to post on #SundayGunday!
Oh no. No no no no no. Time flies by way too fast in the CK series... Haven't jumped into CK3 yet, how are you enjoying it?
My experience with CK2 so far: spend an hour building my court, invite a blacksmith, he elopes with my wife, restart. Rinse, repeat. Over. And Over. And Over. groan
Deus vult!!
Crusader Kings, Middle Ages family simulator masquerading as an empire simulator. RNG heavy so lots of restarts if you want the game to go your way.
We LOVE YOU Groovy Centipede!
Ladypede here, taking a front end web dev course trying to career change out of warehouse work. Working on putting together a photo gallery of my work (I'm no pro photog, just a fan with a smartphone, but I've gotten a few nice snaps over the years) while nursing a bourbon and coke. Beyond ready for this plandemic to be over so we can go to live shows again (the last one before covid19 was motherfuckin SLAYER this past Nov on their farewell tour and it feels like a fucking lifetime ago) I miss my concerts and my concert friends.
I miss live music the most. I guess I'll just have to go to a peaceful protest if the God Emperor rolls through my town
I've moved around a fair amount in my career. Always looking for that next challenge. IT has definitely been my favorite. Good luck with your coursework! Cheers!
Good for you on taking the dev courses! Keep it up. You'll do great.
Calling Big Mike a goat is rather insulting to goats. Just saying.
Anybody know when we get to see which was the best dancing on fire antfa goon meme? We had the upvote contest.
LETS GO GIRLZ
That's quite a shift of gears after the Girl Talk and Die Antwoord I was just listening to. IDK maybe I need to calm down before bed.
wazzup girls. how bout a wildfire checkin for the west coasters.
I'm fine but my aunt is stuck on the beach and can't get out today. Send a quick prayer her way for safe return if you are the praying type. How are yall.

Trying not to suffocate from all the ash and smoke but am safe for now <3 prayers for auntie!
prayers for your lungs. Our air here is a bit thick, but not crazy. However, I've been in worse smoke, and that shit suuuuucks. I had some people with wildfire experience tell me that hot beverages with honey, butter, or chicken fat (like fresh broth) will coat your throat if it starts to get sore. I took that advice and it really helped.
Stay safe, m'pede.
yeah that is terrible. Let's hope after the election Trump will lay the hammer down once and for all..
Sending prayers her way!
<3!
The sky was dark and orange all day. The ash was being held high in place by some system and it looked like an eclipse or living on Mars. The plagues of Egypt? From 58° to 100° to pea soup fog to ashy darkness in just a few days. Love and prayers for your Auntie!
oh my goodness! stay safe girl, and take some cool pics for your great grandkids. ty 4 prayers <3... will be thinking boucha!

Fleet Command, set course for the Homeworld.
Sorry to steal the ladies spotlight.. But I'd love to see a campaign ad with Kamala Harris and descriptions of the people she has helped to bail out and their crimes.
I believe the fund she supported has bailed out both rapists and rioters.
Think it would be clear and effective. Probably a good timing before VP debates
Great suggestion.
Hi Ladies, may i suggest : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrEwNCyp2j0 for the song list? Love the songs you picked out! Thank you, stay groovy!

Hey, it's our lovely ladypedes! Yay!
Fully registered to vote here. I've been pestering every person in my vicinity (and some far away) to make sure they are registered and ready as well. Don't want to leave any unaccounted for votes out there for the Dems to 'acquire'. Sneaky buggers.
Great tunes to MAGA by. As always, nicely done, ladies!
Omg how did I not see this until now?!?! Ladies night!!!!!
Love this song
