Been thinking about the margins of late, and I feel the popular vote really isn't as useful a guage as the left harps it up to be.

Us viable voting age population(age, not incarcerated) was roughly 244.8 million in 2016.

https://www.census.gov/data/tables/2016/demo/age-and-sex/2016-age-sex-composition.html

Looking at table 1 for population and subtracting non-citizen, the viable population is roughly 223 million.

The EC is the way we vote for president, it is part of our federal structure. Trump won with 304 votes vs. Hillary who took 227. Trump won 3/5 of the states with a margin of 77 electors. About 14.4% margin.

Now to the meat of the post. 128.8 million cast votes for Trump or Hillary. Trump took 62.984 million while Hillary took 65.853 million. Difference of 2.869 million. A margin of 2.2% in Hillary's favor.

Popular vote margin: 2.2% Electoral vote margin: 14.4%

Trump won the election properly. He derailed the entire system for queen Clinton. He was impeached because 3 million votes that could easily have come from blue saturated states got salty.

Now, let's make that EC margin bigger this November and see how much salt we can harvest this time.

Electoral margin is definitely better, but the reason we want a popular vote win as well is so they don't have a single damn excuse not to accept Trump as their president, or say he doesn't really represent the majority.

With the popular margin being around 58 thousand per state, I feel like he probably won if you subtract potential fraud.

He does represent the majority. 60% of the states favors him.

I completely agree, but one of their central talking points is Trump lost the popular vote therefore he's unpopular.

If Trump not only wins but also wins the popular vote, they won't have much to say about his victory (except i guess he cheated).

This. New York and Los Angeles don't elect the president, the whole country does. And look at the results by county, gets a lot harder to claim the "majority" wanted Clinton. Blatant Democrat fraud and illegals voting probably accounts for the margin.

in 2016 the dims weren’t in the cheating mode their in this year. CHEATING has accounted for up to 10% of votes in previous elections averaging around 6-7 %. This year, adding the “mail out ballot” some experts are predicting CHEATING could be as high as 15% of total votes in blue states. President Trump has asked for “Election Warriors” !

Yeah, prepare now. Get everything zeroed. But I'm still hoping it doesn't come to that. Fourteenth Amendment route seems more likely, I think. Insurrection and rebellion declared, treasonous governors, riot organizers, already identified or will be by then. Temporary martial law maybe, no one but the commies complaining.
