These are real recall petitions going through the proper channels to recall the governors in these states.

Don't confuse these with online petitions you may have signed which will not lead to an actual recall.

Please sign the petitions (if you live in the relevant state), volunteer, donate, and most of all, * SPREAD THE WORD *.

.

States where impeachment of governor is currently in progress:

PENNSYLVANIA: HR915 was introduced on June 15th in the PA General Assembly for the impeachment of Governor Wolf, with 24 co-sponsors. Everyone in PA needs to contact your state representative and senator to let them know you fully support this impeachment, and get your family and friends to do the same. You can find and contact your state representatives using this website.

.

OHIO: Ohio Republicans draft articles of impeachment against governor Mike DeWine. The articles include accusations of unconstitutionally closing down business and violating civil liberties and due process by implementing stay-at-home orders. Ohio pedes, your legislature is standing up for your rights. Stand up for them. Go to this website to show your support.

.

States with approved recall petitions and CURRENTLY COLLECTING SIGNATURES:

CALIFORNIA: California Recall Web Page - - California Facebook Page - 160 days to collect signatures, starting June 10th.

As of August 3rd, organizers said over 100,000 people have volunteered to collect signatures. With the total shitshow going on in CA between continued lockdowns, fallout from AB5, and now rolling blackouts due to bad energy policy, Californians have a real chance to remove Newsom. Remember, similar blackouts were one of the issues that lead to a successful recall of CA Governor Gray Davis in 2003.

.

WISCONSIN: Wisconsin Recall Web Page - - Wisconsin Facebook Page - Recall petition approved in late August, they have 60 days to collect signatures.

.

States with recall petitions but not yet collecting signatures:

.

COLORADO: Colorado Recall Web Page - - Colorado Facebook Page - From what I can tell, the recall petition has not yet been submitted to the state, but this group is organizing support and volunteers in anticipation of getting one submitted and approved.

.

LOUISIANA: A new recall petition was just approved. I'm currently looking for the website for the recall effort. If anyone has it, please post.

.

MICHIGAN: Michigan Recall Web Page - - Michigan Facebook Page - Signature collection will begin October 1st. Sign up now to volunteer.

There is also another petition being circulated in MI to end the lockdowns. Go sign it at https://unlockmichigan.com/.

.

MINNESOTA: Minnesota Recall Web Page - - Minnesota Facebook Page - Signature collection will begin once the group completes a process in the state supreme court, currently underway.

.

NEVADA: Nevada Recall Web Page - - Nevada Facebook Page - This group previously attempted a recall but could not collect the necessary signatures due to the lockdowns. They are currently working to get a new recall petition approved. Currently looking for signature collectors sign up here.

.

OREGON: Oregon Recall Web Page - - Oregon Facebook Page - The recall that was approved in June came up a few thousand signatures short. I believe they will try again so keep an eye on their facebook page for updates.

.

Cities with recall petitions:

BOISIE, ID: Boisie Recall Web Page - A petition has been filed with the clerk, but not approved yet, to recall the mayor and one memeber of the city council.

.

KANSAS CITY, MO: Kansas City Recall Facebook Page - If anyone has the group's website please post it and I'll add it here. Apparently the previous attempt to recall failed by only about 100 signatures.

.

MADISON, WI: Madison Recall Web Page - Petition approved to recall the mayor, currently collecting signatures.

.

NASHVILLE, TN: Nashville Recall Web Page - There are recall petitions in Nashville for the mayor and city council due to massive tax increases. UPDATE: The first attempt did not collect enough signatures, but they are going to try again. All Nashville pedes, they need your support.

.

NORMAN, OK: Norman Recall Web Page - - NormanRecall Facebook Page - Recall underway for Mayor and several city council members who voted to defund the police department.

This group is getting results. They have collected enough signatures and the next step will be to have the signatures validated then schedule a recall election.

.

SEATTLE, WA: Seattle Recall Web Page - A petition to recall the mayor of Seattle, Jenny Durkan was just approved by the court. It looks like this recall is being organized by a left-wing group who is upset with the use of tear bas by the Seatle PD, but probably still worth supporting if thee is a chance of getting her removed because this woman is clearly a menace to the public.

i was really disappointed in him...and i'm from 'bama. i thought y'all had a really good guy in office...apparently with or without the wheelchair, this man does not the political spine to Do The Right Thing. shame.

Same! Kept scrolling down in hopes. Hit the comments and saw yours near the top. Sigh... I like Abbot. He’s a good man. But I will make sure he understands how bad he fucked us with this unlawful mask mandate.

LurkNoMore 5 points ago +5 / -0

I will also add what another pede told me: Abbott likely will not run again since he’s done two terms. Knowing he’s almost out anyway might be the impetus for not recalling him.

Donald Trump is the only person on the face of the earth who can withstand the media onslaught. That is why I'm really not sure it matters in the long term if Trump wins or loses. If he wins, all he has is four more years.

Boise mayor recall already failed. It seemed really fishy too. I know a lot of people that worked hard at it and it just went poof 3 weeks before deadline, website shutdown, FB page deleted.

Putzker is a recall target. However, due to rules of the recall process, a recall might not occur until he's up for reelection. There is an active petition though, and I bet Lightfool is facing something similar. That's Chicongo though and I hope to be free of Illinois in about 18 months anyway.

Fuck that tinpot dictator DeWine!!!

You can’t wait or trust recalls to work. Democrats won’t give up power, and the recall vote will be rigged. Only thing that works for sure is the 2A

4
uvontheterrible [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Which Democrat didn't give up power when they lost an election?

-2
Crusty_Pede -2 points ago +1 / -3

Never said they refused in the past, so I’m not sure why I need to give that example. What makes you think they will care what a vote says anymore, unless they are the victor?

Do you honestly think Democrats are going to let America be America?

1
uvontheterrible [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

What makes you think they will care what a vote says anymore, unless they are the victor?

There have been thousands of elections where a Democrat has lost and given up power.

Using history as a guide, it seems this will continue. If you are asserting that it won't, you should explain why.

Sadly Oregon wasn't able to get the amount of signatures and the recall failed. So the campaign has closed down their twitter and facebook accounts.

There's still the facebook group though: https://www.facebook.com/groups/starkb/ but that's about all that's left of the recall campaign.

No recall for Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance (at the) Bottom (s)???

After that fiasco with the stoned dude in the Wendy's parking lot?

With nightly peaceful protests (riots), and several people shot including an 8 year old?

The only reason she decided to end this was because the Atlanta Police were reporting in sick in droves, and that the failed mayor saw her popularity crater.

My girl and I signed the petition to get rid of Grewsom, our gun shop had a table set up with a sign up sheet, they were running out of pages.

2
IHeartMyDoggy 2 points ago +2 / -0

I signed one too outside of a Trader Joe’s. Several people were signing. I was wondering if there was a way to find out how many signatures they had so far.

CrispyQuesoSalami 1 point ago +1 / -0

https://recallgavin2020.com/

Can't seem to find and exact figure but they give regular updates of "We've passed 80,000 signatures."

EDIT: Apparently if you click on county info tab and on each county it tells you how many signatures. Just noticed that.

missusellis 2 points ago +2 / -0

Where's the Mitt Romney recall?

2
PepesCovfefe 2 points ago +2 / -0

We had a recall for gov polis in co pre COVID and we didn’t get enough signatures.

Any conservative that didn’t sign that in co should be ashamed of themselves.

2
DerAlterAmAltar 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wasn't even aware it happened. I would've signed if I'd known.

2
uvontheterrible [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's important for everyone to sign up on their website so they have a ready pool of volunteers once a new petition is approved.

No King Andy... too many retards, UAWs and teachers in KY I guess

2
uvontheterrible [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

KY does not have a recall provision for governor. Only about 15 states have it.

2
sir_rockness 2 points ago +2 / -0

I thought we did? Didnt we use it on William Goebel?

2
uvontheterrible [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

According to ballotopedia it doesn't, although I'm not sure this site is 100% accurate.

According to the website, they are not collecting signatures at this point. They are just trying to build a list of supporters so if/when they get to the point of collecting signatures they have a large group ready to go.

Ain't it funny how Bel Edwards moves Louisiana into phase 3 the day after it looks like he'll be recalled?

1
not_tired_of_winning 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sadly, I don't know about recalling Durkan... I think that just replaces her with someone even further left and more insane until the next election.

1
Notmyformerpresident 1 point ago +1 / -0

Us Oregonians just got scammed out of a recall special election. Every ballot person I talked to said they had way more than enough signatures.

Been sending letters to my local and national representatives pretty consistently, but went ahead and sent more letters. Because screw this authoritarian BS.
