I gave up on the NFL many years ago - the game 'on the field' is not even the game of Football anymore.
The game is worthless - a 3 hour time slot filled with 1 full hour of commercials - and one full hour of low value commentary with the remaining hour of game time literally covering about 150 offensive plays that take up an average of 4 seconds each.... or 10 minutes of actually 'game play on the field.'
And then factor in that about half the plays are determined by the refs calling a penalty, as opposed to players actually doing anything game related. I haven't missed my home team's NFL game once in decades. I will not watch any NFL games ever again. They ruined it. I know what channel Rachel Maddow is on, if I wanted to spend my time hearing the idiotic political opinions of retards, I'd be watching Maddow. It amazes me how people who were shoved through school without learning a damned thing because the school wanted them eligible for football, and who got college degrees only because they played football, now somehow think they're smarter than everyone else. Anyway, I am making a list of projects to do on weekends this winter since I will have lots of free time on Sundays.
