I never knew the Italians were the "black white people" I would assume that was the Irish(obv not on skin tone). The vast majority of the Italian people I know are patriotic as fuck and they arent cool with bullshit.
The Irish were the first "black white people"; then we came along. Yet another bit of the not so subtle bigotry (against Blacks, Irish, and Italians in this instance, there are plenty of other examples) the left/Dems have engaged in since the beginning.
Blacks -- supposed to act "ghetto"
Irish -- supposed to be like "Blacks"
Italians -- supposed to act like "Irish and Blacks"

But, the modern political left in the U.S. has its historical roots in both the pro-slavery Democrats as well as the anti-immigrant Know Nothings (you could say they took from the worst both the north and the south had to offer) -- hatred and disdain for "white ethnics and non-white people" is deeply ingrained into them (don't look at their words, look at what their actions towards the same have been). So, it isn't just an anti-Catholic thing (back in the day they hated German immigrants...who are hardly all Catholic...they used to call them "brown"! what a joke, huh?).
Yup- look at how Kamala Harris and Maize Hirono treated judicial nominee Brian Buescher for being in Catholic service organization Knights of Columbus. (Does just hearing the word Columbus just majorly trigger libs or what?)
