Yep, just with prostate cancer: dying with it is much more common than dying from it.

The PSA test is a blood test, not a finger in your ass.

Today I learned only 1 in 41 men diagnosed with prostate cancer die from it.

They can just pull numbers out of their ass and the left would not question it. "The man wearing a lab coat on TV said so." "The newspaper said so." "The mayor said so." "Makes sense to me." "...is that not enough for you???"

Or "cases" for that matter. They just twist and turn every statistic into the one that makes Trump look bad. Number of Cases, number of deaths, death rate, any time Trump can counter their narrative with the CDC's own numbers they want to count everything differently.

They've been conflating "infections" (virus detectable by lab equipment) with "cases" (symptoms severe enough to warrant a doctor visit) all along.

This point is overblown. Covid isn’t being treated any differently than any other infection. It’s very rare for any infection to kill an otherwise healthy person. People die from an infection because their other organs can’t tolerate the stress and are diseased at baseline or because their immune system can’t control it. Whether the infection kills someone or it’s their COPD is semantics
