Lefty has a felony record and had a gun. No arrests.

I have a serious question. Let's easy Rittenhouse is found innocent which is a certainty as long as no one drops the ball in a big way and justice is not perverted.

He will have spent time in jail still and substantial time during a crucial time in life. He will have also lost a portion of his personal resources material, psychological and temporal.

What compensation does he receive for that when found innocent?

I'd call it at least in the 100K range but more like 2million since they think his liberty is worth that.

Does the justice system have any recourse for this?

The charges are also clearly excessive based on readily available evidence making it clearly malicious.

We also really need a verified source on spangly arms record as it might have been dropped from felony on plea deal. The courts will know but it is hidden from us. If they are ignoring felon gun possession then that further demonstrates an imbalance of justice.

The goal of the justice system is to provide justice, not fairness. If kyle is innocent, which he clearly is, then i expect investigators to look towards the mob chasing kyle. Those individuals are guilty of manslaughter, including the 3 people shot, and the one guy that was not shot.

not sure about the felony record, but the act of him conceal carrying in the first place is a class A misdemeanor:

"Carrying a concealed weapon without a valid license is a class A misdemeanor. This is any "weapon", not just firearms. This restriction does not apply in one's own home or business. A concealed carry license only covers handguns, tasers, billy clubs, and knives.

WI statute 941.23[7]"

but also,

""No person may carry or display a facsimile firearm in a manner that could reasonably be expected to alarm, intimidate, threaten or terrify another person", unless on your own property or business, or that of another person with their consent.

WI statute 941.2965 [30]"

and more importantly,

"Committing a crime while possessing a dangerous weapon is a penalty enhancer.

WI statute 939.63 [31]"

he should be charged with something at the very least

He had no visible holster, so yes, he was concealing. As for permit to carry, for what I've heard no, but can't tell. Regardless of that having the weapon while in the act of committing a crime (rioting) is a crime itself, probably a felony but I'm not 100% on that.

Like I'm one state over in MN (which has similar rules) and if I was to have my gun with me while I'm drinking alcohol that is a felony (which wi has a similar rules) and drinking alcohol isn't even a crime. But the act of having your weapon while drinking, permit or not, is. Same case for crime so in that case it would be a crime on top of a crime.

iirc someone posted in another thread he plead down to intoxicated possession of a firearm or something and it was a misdemeanor. I don't know the punishment for that crime but the federal government doesn't care what a state classifies as a misdemeanor or felony. They say anything with more than a year in jail is a dis qualifier to legal purchase of a gun.

2
Long_time_lurker 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pretty sure he can't have a permit given the felon status, not sure about the rest.

I believe that arrest records for all three have been shown on .win previously, though I don't have them handy.

Avdimar 6 points ago +7 / -1

I see he might have a misdemeanor, but yeah I cant find anything about a felony.

5
tsacian 5 points ago +5 / -0

Good point. At the very least he attempted to murder someone on the ground, who was being chased and beaten by a mob. He even stated he regrets hesitating before attempting to kill Kyle.

He admitted he was going to execute kyle while he was on the ground. That alone is enough for a conviction. Unfortunately the state will not press charges so it is up to the feds.

I was just thinking about Gaige's cross-exam last night. Kind of difficult to reconcile that the Kenosha prosecutor considers Gaige's actions self-defense, while Kyle's actions were murder 1.

"So, Gaige. You were chasing Kyle through the streets with a gun?"

"That's correct."

"And the prosecutor's office didn't press charges against you for attempted murder?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because I explained to them that I was chasing Kyle because I was afraid that he might hurt someone else. I was acting in self-defense."

"So even though you were chasing the accused through the streets with a gun, the Kenosha prosecutors office declined to press charges against you because they believed you were acting in self-defense? Is that right?"

"That's correct."

To the jury: "So according to the Kenosha prosecutor's office. It's self-defense when you are in illegal possession of a firearm, chasing a man down the street with an angry mob yelling, "Get him!" and "Beat his ass!", but it's not self-defense when you are the one being chased, shot at, and beaten? Does that seem reasonable to you Mr. Grosskreutz, because that doesn't seem like a very consistent application of the law to me."

Give it time. The idiot is marching around, talking to his fellow shitheads, and in general leading investigators where they need to go... even if he doesn't know he's doing it. See also his cell phone, and the cell phones of all the dumb fucks who leave theirs on while they hang around him.

If I were an antifa shithead the absolute LAST thing I'd want to do is hang around that asshole. I wouldn't want to be within 100 miles of his ass.

But then, Pantifa are, well, stupid kids for the most part.

I'm thinking Kyle is probably the guest of honor hanging out in the break room with the guards playing video games.

But your point stands.

5
Greg-2012 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

I am hoping this is true but he is still being held as a political prisoner, IMO.

5
stonepony 5 points ago +5 / -0

Absolutely. And he's going to get paid big time.

These jailers and guards have a lot of control over who has a bad time and who remains comfortable, in prisons and in jails.

They probably have no love for the ANTIFA and BLM terrorists who scream ACAB and attacked this kid.

4
GreyGooseDown 4 points ago +4 / -0

Can this be true. I will send them an XBox and games if we can make that happen.

4
stonepony 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, listen to some anecdotes from Joe Diaz in jail. He wasn't a hero, he's just charming, and he had the run of the place.

I'd bet Kyle is being well treated.

7
Gulleyfoyleismyname 7 points ago +7 / -0

I can't bring myself to watch it.

The thought of seeing him and hearing him makes me physically ill.

6
Dgilles111 6 points ago +6 / -0

Absolutely unacceptable this motherfucker hasnt been arrested.

6
Seruna_Kanus 6 points ago +6 / -0

Clearly he needs to try and rape a black girl so he can get out for free.

5
Flash_Jones4 5 points ago +5 / -0

He can still lift his arm...

2
GreyGooseDown 2 points ago +2 / -0

Are we sure that thing is staying attached?

5
VinnyMAGA 5 points ago +5 / -0

And that loser Blake is a millionaire via gofundme.

2
Itateeverybody 2 points ago +2 / -0

Won't be able to spend it when he's found guilty of rape.

1
prospektor 1 point ago +1 / -0

With that kind of money, it's usually easy to agree on a "settlement" with the accuser, sadly.

1
Itateeverybody 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't think it gets him outta prison though.

4
Adhal 4 points ago +4 / -0

and he still hasnt changed his clothes, typical

3
TexSolo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Maybe they are keeping him "locked up" for his safety? ;)

3
muslimporn 3 points ago +3 / -0

There is no they in that equation. That is up to the defendant. The court has no business taking that into account when setting bail.

3
ispeakmrad 3 points ago +3 / -0

Police officers just doing their job are holding this innocent kid in a cage.

3
Censorddit 3 points ago +3 / -0

BULLSHIT BULLSHIIIIIIIIT BULLSHIT.

WE NEED MORE OUTRAGE. THIS KID SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN INCARCERATED AT ALL.

2
Bonededdy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Why have the feds not swat teamed him yet? This is plain terrorism by our country to its citizens. They will not protect us period.

2
GreyGooseDown 2 points ago +2 / -0

This dude has the balls to say no one should fear for their safety...he was running down a man, while armed...now he has one good arm.

2
rootGoose 2 points ago +2 / -0

Irony is lost on ignored by them. It's the liar's way.

2
DingDongDitch 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sandmann- please bail out Kyle. He’ll pay you back later and then you two can open a restaurant together

Hmmm... wonder why a guy that clearly attempted to kill someone with a handgun would be free to walk about with a giant cast on his arm?

I wonder if it's listening...

the other two, not so free to roam, except among the dead.

I can't watch that fucking creeper talk. Kyle should have finished the job.

He should get felony murder charges for attacking a retreating child along with skater boi.
