Maybe there could be any charges. Let's start there.

It is hypothetically possible that if my aunt had balls, she just might be my uncle...

Hot takes are for idiots, example one billion and one.

What Herridge tweeted:

Is John Durham nearing the end of his investigation? WILLIAM BARR:I-- I'm not gonna characterize exactly where he is. I'll just leave it at that--WILLIAMS: Okay, would you say-- it's unlikely that there'll be further criminal charges? BARR: No, I wouldn't say that at all, no.

What the Examiner story said:

Barr told NBC News's Pete Williams on Wednesday that he's "not gonna characterize exactly where" Durham is in his investigation, according to a transcript cited by CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge. When pressed on whether there will be further criminal charges, Barr replied, “I wouldn't say that at all, no," adding, “there could be.”

The 'unlikely' in Herridge's quote of Williams makes all the difference. Looks like the Examiner writer botched the job - 'pressed on whether' lost that clarity.

Based on the way I've heard Barr speak in the past, I get much hope from his quote in Herridge's summary. I'd call it a strong hint to expect more.

only if GEOTUS loses

then they will file charges that will be dismissed by the next administration

without any judges to file amicus briefs in favor of the prosecution

I love all these threads hating Barr because we have a generation of people that say fuck it when something takes longer than they like it to.

Makes it easy to see who trusts Trump and who are just Fairweather plants.

Until Trump comes down on Barr and Durham like he did with Sleepy Sessions, he's good to me.

Yeah, criminal charges with sweetheart deals and offering up nothing of value in return.
