1st generation Cuban here. My grandfather spent 21 years in a political prison in Cuba. He was tortured for 21 years, all because he stood up to his government. My grandfather passed in 2015, but he lives on in me and my family. We will fight like hell in his honor. USA will NEVER BE A COMMUNIST COUNTRY!

I've got a colleague who spent 15 years in Castro's prisons because he criticized the government. He came to the US to be free, but here's the kicker: there are leftist faculty on my campus who refuse to speak to him, turn their heads to ignore him and walk on the other side of the street because somehow he's the problem--not communism.

Sickening. Political prisoner's in Cuba are/ were subjected to inhumane conditions and torture. Murderers and rapists mixed in with people who spoke against their government. Id love to send every latte commie in the US to a Cuba prison.
