Still got my guns
Black guy in there said Joe Biden should be in not him I told him I agree
Reason I was there is because buddy overdosed on heroin and his girlfriend who was also my ex and best friend slit her throat. She was the mother of my child.
Going to his shitbed soon and see him in the casket. He was a piece of shit, had no potential and a shell of a man. But he was my buddy.
Going to be hard seeing her at her funeral. I loved her, will always love her. Hopefully I can deal. I'm sure she will be beautiful as ever. Rest in piece Sydney.
Here was her favorite song. Hope you listen

Thanks for all the messages, you guys convinced me not to do it. I'm back and a shit ton of medication but I'm not craving Jack Daniels anymore. Feeling alright.
One more thing
MAGA
based on his username, I'm going to go out on a limb and say he knows about it.
That said, if OP (or anyone else) needs an ear, some tips, or anything, I was a heroin (and benzos) addict for 5 years. Have 7+ years clean now. I research and work in addiction and drug policy reform, and am not one of those "you have to do 12-steps," or "you have to do x, y, z" kind of people, and understand that recovery looks different for anyone. Even believe recovery can involve substance use, and the premise for recovery is built on a fundamental understanding of addiction, and that addiction is something entirely different from physical dependence (though obviously they are related, but one does not necessarily mean the other).
In any case, I'm glad you're with us, and nothing but positive thoughts for you bud. I've been there, inches away from ending it all right before getting help and entering recovery. You got this -- work on yourself first, and things will get better. Everything, including pain, is all temporary. The only thing that isn't temporary in life, is death. Don't take any permanent action.
