A source w/in the Fire Department who has been fighting the fires in Bonney Lake, WA told me, “these fires are 100% due to arson. Forest fires don’t happen in residential neighborhoods. In my 30 yrs as a firefighter, I have never seen anything like this.” (twitter.com)

I'm here in the area... Can confirm there are multiple sources repeating this, not just Bonney Lake. The fire at I5 & 512 the other day was arson. They caught another guy in Lakewood today trying to light a fire. Lived here 6 years and they've never been this close and those that have lived here longer say the same thing.
