Dems say the bill didn't "go far enough" but what they REALLY mean is their pork which lined the bill was not acceptable to the GOP. This is how they want to funnel monies to ALL the cities that burnt down, etc., etc. "under the disguise of covid relief".

If the bill doesn't go far enough shouldn't they pass the bill then work on passing another bill to address the areas that need more?

They all just copy and paste each other's articles and use the same god damn words. Your whole fucking worthless profession is writing words and you can't help but copy the same fucking words to describe a scenario? Of course, we know it's coordinated to present an illusion of choice and consensus in media.

I think this is evidence of behind-the-scenes coordination, a la the old JournoList. Journalists secretly decide how to frame stories to make Democrats look good and Republicans look bad.

Yep, I just opened up WSJ and they used the same "skinny" phrase that NYT used to describe it. What a fucking joke. I looked to WSJ as the maybe the last centrist paper in the whole fucking country but maybe that's not even true anymore.

Should have made them actually perform the filibuster. Make those old broads stand up there and talk for hours.
