Remember when #ClintonBodyCount was trending after Epstein died, and a short while later it disappeared and #TrumpBodyCount popped up and remained visible all day?
I've also seen instances where positive hashtags starts trending about Trump, and when you click on them you see all these blue checkmarks and random accounts with 50 followers spamming kpop videos with the hashtag, and they're massively upvoted. That bumps those posts to the top of the hashtag page, drowning out any positive sentiment about Trump.
I've always thought the same in regards to how fascinating it would be if someone studied this phenomenon. I think there is so much to learn here. However, the academy never would; it is where so much of it originates from and a primary avenue for propagating this onto our young. Such a study would never be approved by an institutional review board.
I've worked in higher education for such a while, and you are spot on with your description about TDS's grip on someone. It always struck me how intelligent individuals whose purpose is to always be advancing critical thinking suddenly lack said critical thinking skills when it comes to Trump... and frankly most politics nowadays.
It's effective. If you accuse your enemy of what you are doing, you are creating a scenario where both sides accuse each other of the same thing, thus let the conversation devolve into mere "politics" rather than what is true or false. It causes confusion to people and can delude scenarios vehemently.

Check your status, register yourselves and get others who are passionate about Trump and conservative values if you or they haven't yet registered:
