If they're going to make a big deal about masks I will wear masks that make them feel uncomfortable.

No mask and a MAGA hat is the best combination.

They're really thinking mask wearers are suckers because they're still giving in to their unconstitutional mandates and will continue to do so until THEY decide to stop it.

Duchess -3 points ago +9 / -12

Have you ever been kicked out of a store for not wearing it? I have and it's fucking humiliating. Humiliating and I didn't change one person's mind. All it hurts is me at this point cause without it I can't shop. And I LOVE to shop!

9
TheThreeSeashells 9 points ago +9 / -0

No, I haven't. Most stores are directed not to confront customers who aren't wearing masks for legal purposes. If a store decides they want to enforce the rule, then that store no longer gets my business.

The problem is once again Conservatives being the "nice guys" and letting the Left get their way on everything. If every Conservative got together to stop wearing them tomorrow, this ends. What are stores going to do? It's easy to bully one person, but are they going to kick out 30, 40 or 50? No.

You know for an absolute fact that if President Trump issued the mask mandates, the Left would absolutely refuse to wear them. It's a shame Conservatives are so willing to continually play by the Left's rules.

2
TheMemeSpiceMustFlow 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree, but the key word is 'every'. This isn't a fight a couple people can win. There needs to be organization. If lots of conservatives stood up we'd win, and if more conservatives voted in local elections we'd win, etc, etc. One or two people refusing to wear a mask will just be ignored at best and thrown to the wolves at worst.

The military is able to send people in to dangerous conflict because no one gets left behind. The same just isn't true for political activism on the conservative side. Occasionally high profile incidents like Kyle get gofundme support, but that's not the norm. If you want average people to become political activists then they need confidence that no one gets left behind.

1
TheThreeSeashells 1 point ago +1 / -0

The bigger problem is that Conservatives don't even TRY to organize. The only issue they ever seem to get their act together on is anti-abortion, which is fine, but there's a lot more important issues than just that single one.

I just don’t wear it, and most people are like, wow, cool, I wish I was like you. I hate this thing, ect. I promise people prefer my smiling friendly face vs. a masked weird face. I just don’t accept the premise, or really think about it much in general. I most people have to wear it for a job which is underatandable, otherwise I judge you for being a submissive little bitch basically. It’s all a lie, and people are either dumb, or submissive cucks,

3
Bye_Reddit 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why would you care what cattle think of you?

1
lifeisahologram 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have, and it wasn’t humiliating. I was happy to leave and not give them my money and I will never again. It was at firestone and I have been a 10 year customer, but never again.

2
lifeisahologram 2 points ago +2 / -0

They are way more uncomfortable if you don’t wear a mask. If you capitulate, they still think they are “right”, after all you are agreeing their rules are legitimate by wearing the mask.

2
Brainz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thanks...you’re the reason they still feel like they can enforce it at Home Depot, Wal Mart, grocery stores and every where else.

leahcim 15 points ago +16 / -1

My work requires a mask, my state requires it for every indoor establishment.

I could quit, somehow do alright, move out of the state, find a non mask state and job that didn't require it.

But that is fantasy for a lot of people.

I could walk into every convenience store, cause a huge ruckus, make the poor people working behind a counter making $10 an hour uncomfortable, deal with that shit, and maybe at worst get the police called if it got that far, maybe if i'm lucky they would just let me buy my stupid coffee drink and have the store risk getting fined by the state if people complain.

Or maybe I could find a small mom and pop shop that don't give a fuck, i can deal with dirty looks from other customers and shit I get that with my MAGA gear in the past, a mom and pop shop that hasn't been destroyed by national/regional chains that care only about not getting sued or bad PR. Maybe those still exist around here, they're more and more rare.

Or maybe I can just wear the stupid fucking mask.

Some people are in financial situations, family situations, state government or job situations that don't make it as simple as "just take off the mask."

If and when it comes time to really take off the mask, I'll be ready to.

For now, where I'm at in time and place, I'll wear the stupid mask to get my coffee drink.

There are many Trump supporters that wear masks

We exist

0
Brainz 0 points ago +1 / -1

Kinda like when people say “my vote won’t count”, in my opinion, this is the same exact scenario where enough people say I’ll just wear it because I need to live or work and SO, companies get away with it. Where are the protests for this shit? Where are the strikes for this garbage?

4
leahcim 4 points ago +4 / -0

Unlike the 20 year antifa trash protesting every night, most of us have to work for a living and don't have the luxury of drawing a line in the sand over this, right now. There's 50,000 bullshit lies about the Coronavirus and the mask is just one thing on top of it all.

Where are the protests? I don't know, I don't like them, but I'm not at the point where I'm going to march on Washington tomorrow over them either.

Oh so how do I protest? I complain about the masks every day to coworkers, family etc, complain about coronavirus and how its been a distorted narrative from the beginning, i tell anyone who will hear it how its been politicized and its only being used as a tool to attempt to hurt Trump at this point, thats what we all should do. Right now most people in the country aren't bitching about wearing the mask or don't mind it, give it another few months and maybe those feelings will change.

Do you part, posting here on the choir ain't doing shit and calling someone a coward or blaming people for not being active and (i don't mean you specifically, just in general) "just don't wear the mask pussy." Yeah that might be easy to do in Oklahoma, try getting away with that shit in a blue as fuck state and it'll do no good and just cause annoyance.

1
Brainz 1 point ago +1 / -0

Alright Pede. It’s just my opinion. I respect yours, I just think when thousands if not millions of people think the same way this is how shit can go on and on and on.

2
leahcim 2 points ago +2 / -0

I mean I don't disagree with that sentiment, but I get frustrated over the same thing but over what I feel is far more important issues. Media propaganda, tech censorship, but these types of things just don't organically appear without a breaking point. At least for the right. When the left does this shit there's money flowing through, its manufactured. The right doesn't have that.

I also agree it does cause us major problems and its ultimately how we lose ground all the time in the culture war, I don't have an answer. I don't really disagree to be honest, its just not like waving a magic obama wand either.

1
Brainz 1 point ago +1 / -0

I get it. I have family who wear them at work (forced to anyways) and I can certainly say that if my work establishment enforced it I would most likely quit or find another job then quit. But I understand it’s harder for some people. I’m still gonna talk shit when I see them and get upset about people who bitch about wearing them but then post photos on IG of them wearing masks at the gym or out at a restaurant because that’s hypocrisy at its finest and I call it out when I see it. I know we’re all hypocrites in our own way so I’m not playing mr innocent.

7
AntiDefecationLeague 7 points ago +7 / -0

I agree with you but I keep a black and yellow DTOM mask in my vehicle in case I absolutely have to go into a place that requires a mask. My first approach is always to go in without one and see if anyone says anything. 99.99% of the time nobody says shit and I go about my business

4
Cheesecakecrush 4 points ago +5 / -1

The wall is crumbling but many places still require them, and their cucked employees don't deserve to be attacked because they have to enforce shitty policy. Antagonizing them only makes them resent you and your side. This mask is what we call "malicious compliance." Its the other side of the 'refusal to comply' coin in opposition to masks. If I'm going to be forced to wear one as a condition of my continued employment, then by god I'm going to make the ones who enforce that shitty rule regret it.

2

My “moderate and reasonable” sibling asked if they should put an American flag in their window to counter the BLM sign the eunuch has in the house next door. It’s now controversial for some people to fly an American flag. Sad, sad times in cities.

7

Upvote, because the mask zealots are increasingly hating on this type of mask (neck gaiter).

8
meteorknife 8 points ago +9 / -1

I bought 3 at the beginning of the shut down and it was the best decision I've made in a while. I fully respect a business' decision to require masks (not the government), but you can't tell me that I have to be wearing medical grade ppe.

2
spratville 2 points ago +2 / -0

There was a study from Duke suggesting the neck gaiter is actually worse for transmission than no mask at all.

https://advances.sciencemag.org/content/6/36/eabd3083.full

The neck gaiter has a larger transmission (110%; see Fig. 3A) than the control trial. We attribute this increase to the neck gaiter dispersing larger droplets into several smaller droplets, therefore increasing the droplet count.

So if someone HAS to wear a mask, I fully recommend a neck gaiter. The best kind of COVID compliance is malicious compliance.

Were a big group of Patriots and we have different ways of solving problems.

Business owners are legally protected to put up "no shirt, no shoes no service" signs.

Many of them hate this shit but that doesnt mean you have to make their lives harder.

If you dont like this fuck you, you're just starting to act like the control freaks on the left.

2

I see both sides of this, as someone that has had multiple issues and write-ups at work for this now. I wish it was easy to just quit my job, and find one where they don't do this. Some of us have debt, families, and bills that require a 9-5 job that requires masks.

Tell us, oh wise ones, where in southern california can you protest the mask mandate?

Here is the approach the communist hypocritical local democrat prominent lawyers are handling the mask no mask issue in Palm Beach County that I have been seeing: they do NOT wear a mask, in violation of our local ordinance, but hold mask in hand and flash it if when confronted. Seems to be OK with the body snatchers based on my observations.

I hate to sound like the guests on the Meet the Press roundtable, but look

...some of us live in states with a mask mandate; good for those of you who don't. In addition, any private business has a right to require a mask whether or not a mandate is even in place--and they have a right to deny entrance to those who aren't wearing them.

That said, I don't know of any businesses which want to alienate customers. What I've noticed (and even more, now) is that shoppers are removing masks as they go about their shopping, pulling them down, or uncovering their noses. Even Wegmans cashiers and stockers are pulling down their masks. Yeah, we all want to breathe.

I DON'T wear a mask outdoors, I don't wear one driving, and I don't wear one walking from my car to the store. But I do while shopping. I wear only surgical masks, with 2 of the 3 layers removed. I could blow out birthday candles with my nostrils alone lol. That gets me into the stores, and no Karens have stopped me or noticed--not that I care if they did. They're cheap enough to dispose of daily, and I do. As a gag gift, someone gave me a cloth one which says I HAVE COVID-19, but I never wear it because cloth masks are shweddy, dirty, and yucky. (People who say they're laundering their cloth ones after each use are lying.)

Stop questioning why people are wearing masks when you know they're doing so only to comply with a store's requirement.

0
lifeisahologram 0 points ago +1 / -1

Unless it’s literally raining ash where you live don’t wear a mask at all dude. Even if it’s the “law”. They win if you wear a mask. The left wins if you buy into the game they play and follow their made up rules.

-4
Celtic_Warrior -4 points ago +7 / -11

Support the police who are forcing you to wear the mask in the first place because some politician said so.

5
Bidens_leg_hair 5 points ago +5 / -0

I used to have this same sentiment before I moved and realized that the police mirror the community. In a commie state/city the police are despicable like the people they “serve”. In the place I’m in now the police do their jobs and don’t enforce mask mandates, even with governors orders. If you hate the police then you must hate your neighbors. I sure did. Moving was the best decision I ever made. Let the cities burn. Conservative states need more reinforcement and voters

1
Celtic_Warrior 1 point ago +2 / -1

This sentiment only applies to the despicable police you’re referring to; it doesn’t apply to good cops who honor their oaths and serve the community.

Celtic_Commie. Take your ACAB bullshit elsewhere, faggot.

3
Celtic_Warrior 3 points ago +7 / -4

We have a lot of great cops including cops in my State who refuse to enforce the governor’s ridiculous mask mandate. If you love tyranny then get your commie ass out of here.

I don’t support commie cops who will do anything to collect a paycheck and keep their pensions.

2
Block_Helen 2 points ago +3 / -1

Maybe they just want to do their job. Sometimes it's not about the pension.

3
Celtic_Warrior 3 points ago +4 / -1

Their job is to keep their oath and enforce the law; not blindly follow the orders of some politician behaving like a dictator.

Ridiculous mandates are not laws while Unconstitutional laws are invalid and thus should not be enforced.

3
Block_Helen 3 points ago +3 / -0

They can't enforce the law if they're fired or suspended.

I agree with you about ridiculous mandates. I'm just saying you don't know why they choose to put up with ridiculous bullshit.

The military puts up with a ton of bullshit too. It is possible to believe in what you are doing more than you believe in the shit the anklebiters make you do. That's called living in the real world.

Did you quit every single job you ever had when you were asked to do something you didn't agree with? I bet you didn't.

0
Celtic_Warrior 0 points ago +2 / -2

They can’t plausibly be fired if they all stick together and refuse to enforce tyranny. They choose to put up with it because they either agree with it or because they’re complacent and they value their own self-interest more than they value the oaths they took.

Quit making excuses for commie cops. It’s one thing to “put up with bullshit” and it’s another thing to blatantly violate the rights of civilians by putting them under tyranny.
